Hi there! Welcome to your cabin. Everyone here writes young adult fiction: that is, fiction written for teenagers. (Though many adults read YA, too!)
Introduce yourself! Here are some ideas to get you started:
The genre you write
Your blog, website, or page
Your Twitter handle
Your favorite YOUNG ADULT book
Why you write
What you do besides writing
Please do not share any private information. Remember, this is a public forum, and while we hope everyone here is stable and kind, no one can make that guarantee.
When more than one writer in your cabin writes your genre, I'll open up a campfire specifically for your genre. At campfires, you can find critique partners and share book recommendations and comp titles in your genre.
If you have any questions pertaining to writing, drafting, revising, or getting published, please ask those questions in the appropriate forums.

Wordherder, Writing Coach, ADMIN Learn how to write, revise, or pitch your story at StoryCadet.com @storycadet Cadet Course begins June 8!
Your favorite Middle Grade book : (YA? I'll do both!) My favorite MG is Harry Potter (I'm not big into the age group), my favorite YA changes all the time, but lately it's SIX OF CROWS by Leigh Bardugo.
Why you write : Because I honestly don't know how to live my life without writing. I've been making up stories in one way or another since I can remember, and I can't imagine stopping.
What you do besides writing: I play video games, binge-watch TV, and draw.

Genres: Science Fiction & Fantasy
Blog Name: AngelsKingsAndWeirdos.com
Twitter Handle: AngelsKings_And
Favorite MG Book: The Egypt Game (I know it's old, XD)
Favorite YA Book: currently Beautiful Darkness (Book 2 of 4 of the Beautiful Creatures series)
Why you Write: Um, originally I did it to escape from the boredom of school, now I do it to hide out from work XD. I write because I have too many stories to tell and I want to share them with other people who have too many stories too.
What do you do besides writing?: I edit academic writing (dissertations), sing, and watch football and bad movies.
Your favorite YOUNG ADULT book (nice catch, Paul!): You...You want me to name only one? So hard. How about the last 3 that I read and loved. THE ABYSS SURROUNDS US, ON THE EDGE OF GONE, and COLOR BLIND
Why you write: Because I get these crazy ideas stuck in my head, and fall in love with the characters.
What you do besides writing: Read, draw, play crazy card games like Cards Against Humanity, attend the occasional convention
Genre: YA Fantasy, though may possibly write Adult at some point.
No blog =)
Favorite YOUNG ADULT book: So hard to choose just one, but if I HAD to choose, I'd probably pick Fallen Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes (and its sequels equally) or Angelfall by Susan Ee (and its sequels).
Why you write: I've always been creative, and writing was one of the first creative outlets I had even though it was way before I realized that's what I was doing. It's always what came naturally. I was that crazy kid in school who liked doing reports.
Besides writing I: Play violin when it's not broken (this is seriously hurting my soul), trying to teach myself the piano, and wrangling my army of rabbits.
